your password by phone or email.

I would appreciate it if you would please remind your students about  
this fact.

The latest "phishing" attempt (of 10:24 today) was created in very bad  
auto-translated Norwegian, and the return address tried to appear as  
Orakel. We can, however, expect the computer criminals to become more  
sophisticated in their attempts to use phishing and social engineering  
to steal our accounts.

Some users at NTNU have already fallen for this attack, and got NTNU  
blocked from sending email to Hotmail for a short while.
